Jonathan Liang

Athena is a mental health and wellness solutions provider that focuses on music therapy education, music therapy treatment and innovative wellness programs. As the CTO, Jonathan’s goal is to expand the reach of Athena’s music therapy for mental wellness by developing and scaling technology solutions. He oversees digital health technology, product design & development, and music technology licensing partnerships. Jonathan leads the technical team in developing TuneWell, a new robust music therapy app that is the first music app to offer personalized music therapy solely created by certified music therapists.

Jonathan is also a Technology Senior Analyst at Accenture, a global professional services company providing a broad range of services in strategy and consulting, interactive, technology and operations, with digital capabilities across all services. As a Senior Analyst, he is a cloud solutions architect focusing on AWS within the DevOps, Infrastructure and Machine Learning space.

With a great desire to give back to the community, Jonathan is a volunteer to Compassion International, Food for the Hungry and serves as the Treasurer of the International Music & Wellness Council (IMWC), a nonprofit serving children and adults with special needs through music therapy. As the Treasurer, Jonathan has responsibility for fundraising, accounting, and financial operational duties.

Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Science at the prestigious Emory University where he was an active member of the Emory Entrepreneurship and Venture Management Group and continues to be an advisor to start-ups. He is also a member of the Emory University and Oxford College Alumni Associations.
